    Hiked Mt. Washington in NH and used this in my camelback.
    for the 4 hour, 4000 vertical foot hike. It didn't seem any better than plain water and not as beneficial as Gatorade.

    [Tailwind Response]: We are sorry to hear that your experience wasn't positive. One thing you might want to look at is the concentration at which you were running Tailwind. You want to target 200-300 calories/hour so in a 70oz/2 liter hydration pack, you'll put in 7-8 scoops of Tailwind. 70oz will last around 3.5 hours.

    Recommended by several trusted friends but it took me a while to pay the big $$. Well worth it. I put this in my camelbak for an 8 mile run and it was great. Used it the following week for a 10 mile run on a hot, sticky day and it worked perfectly. I had a protein bar before setting out then nothing to eat during the run, just the Tailwind. The (lemon) flavor is light and gentle. No coloring. I do have to clean my camelbak out afterwards due to the sugars. Easy on the stomach. Best when mixed with lots of ice and water.

    The Tailwind Endurance Fuel is fantastic and I will never drink anything else on a run. I recently ran half marathon and took the Gatorade at two of the refueling stops. What a mistake. By mile 11 my stomach was not happy with me. I searched for alternatives and found Tailwind. I drink it on all of my long runs now. It gives me the fuel to feel great during my runs and it is tasty! My stomach loves me know!

Each serving is 100 calories. For endurance workouts, mix 2-3 scoops per 24 oz of water per hour. Adjust to your personal calorie needs during training, using hunger as a guide. To use in combo with other foods, reduce Tailwind intake by the calories you’re consuming elsewhere to avoid overloading the gut. For shorter workouts (<2hr), you can use less Tailwind to taste.
