Each serving is 100 calories. For endurance workouts, mix 2-3 scoops per 24 oz of water per hour. Adjust to your personal calorie needs during training, using hunger as a guide. When it’s dialed in, you’ll feel satisfied and energetic, not hungry or full. On hot days, keep the same calories per hour, but increase water. To use in combo with other foods, reduce Tailwind intake by the calories you’re consuming elsewhere to avoid overloading the gut. For shorter workouts (<2hr), you can use less Tailwind to taste.

    I learned of Tailwind a few years ago and is now my goto fuel for both races and long runs. It's so much better than gels (and tastes better, too!)

    Best endurance fuel I’ve found for long mtb rides. I’ve learned that waiting 35-40 min after starting before drinking Tailwind does improve performance (per their web site’s suggestion).

    My Go To Ultra Fuel

    For many ultra trail races from 31 to 101 miles this Tailwind is my go to race and training fuel! No gut issues, no cramping, plenty of fuel throughout. Find the flavor you like best - mine is the lemon & naked - and you are good to go! Also make sure to test the amount you use during training. The bag offers a good rule of thumb for how much to use. But it varies for the athlete, conditions, and race in my experience. Enjoy! And Run fast & long!
