    The cola flavor is great and not overpowering. The extra kick of caffeine was a nice boost on a long ride. Thanks tailwind!

    I’m training for a few 50 mile runs this year and go through a bag about every 20 days. It’s the only nutrition product I have on every run. The only reason I give a 4 is the Colorado Cola isn’t for me. I’ve tried it on a few runs, but I don’t like the flavor.

    I've tried lots of these kinds of things, but I have to say I'm legit surprised and enthusiastic at my first runs with this. If I do a 5K I just have a scoop right before. If I do a long run (7-10 miles) I bring a container with a 2 scoop mixture. If I remember to DRINK it along the way, it's great every time. I like the taste and the caffeine isn't too much.

Usage is similar to regular Tailwind except that we recommend limiting continuous use to 6 hours or less to avoid building up a high concentration. Each scoop contains 100 calories and 35mg of caffeine. For endurance workouts, mix 2-3 scoops per 24 oz of water per hour. Adjust to your personal calorie needs during training, using hunger as a guide. When it’s dialed in, you’ll feel satisfied and energetic, not hungry or full. On hot days, keep the same calories per hour, but increase water. To use in combo with other foods, reduce Tailwind intake by the calories you’re consuming elsewhere to avoid overloading the gut. For shorter workouts (<2hr), you can use less Tailwind to taste.
