Usage is similar to regular Tailwind except that we recommend limiting continuous use to 6 hours or less to avoid building up a high concentration. Each scoop contains 100 calories and 35mg of caffeine. For endurance workouts, mix 2-3 scoops per 24 oz of water per hour. Adjust to your personal calorie needs during training, using hunger as a guide. When it’s dialed in, you’ll feel satisfied and energetic, not hungry or full. On hot days, keep the same calories per hour, but increase water. To use in combo with other foods, reduce Tailwind intake by the calories you’re consuming elsewhere to avoid overloading the gut. For shorter workouts (<2hr), you can use less Tailwind to taste.

    I have been competing in endurance racing for many years and specifically triathlons for the past four. After stepping up to the Ironman distance, nutrition became a problem. Nothing seemed to work. I was trying to cobble together a multitude of different products and space them out accordingly. Last weekend I finished Ironman Muncie 70.3 using nothing but Tailwind. It was awesome. Three bottles, and that's it! Love this stuff and will shout it from the mountains!

    Got turned onto this by my local running store in AZ. I have to say I was seriously impressed. I have tried pretty much everything under the sun and always got gut bombs. since the first time I tried tailwind to now which has been several months now. No gut bombs at all, I recommend this product to everyone I know!!

    Must have endurance fuel

    Great flavor, yet subtle and easy on the stomach. I am training for my first 50k and have really felt the impact of this endurance fuel on my trail runs. I am amazed how I much fresher I am feeling when finishing my longer trail runs. On my longer runs I alternate the caffeinated and non-caffeinated endurance fuels in my flasks and definitely feel and extra pop from the caffeine, great feeling late in the longer miles runs when you need it.

    I used this in my camelback during a half marathon in Key West last week. I don't tolerate heat well. I drank this, with an occasional small glass of water at an aid station, through the entire half. I felt great. I expected to question why I was running 13.1 when I got to mile 8 or 9, I felt great the entire run. I even pushed myself to go faster the last 3 miles. i am normally dragging at the end. not this time! I look forward to Triathlon training using this product. I with I had it for the MCM last year. Better late than never though!

    I started using Tailwind a few weeks ago as I started training for my first ultra. I have been a marathon runner for over 10 years and I've always used gels. Switching to a longer distance I figured gels weren't going to cut it for me. Enter Tailwind into my life... I love it. It's so easy to mix and go out the door. It tastes great, light and refreshing. And it's all I need! I'm looking forward to finishing this ultra with tailwind and then I really want to run another marathon with tailwind and see how much better I can do! Also can't forget to mention, top notch customer service!
