Usage is similar to regular Tailwind except that we recommend limiting continuous use to 6 hours or less to avoid building up a high concentration. Each scoop contains 100 calories and 35mg of caffeine. For endurance workouts, mix 2-3 scoops per 24 oz of water per hour. Adjust to your personal calorie needs during training, using hunger as a guide. When it’s dialed in, you’ll feel satisfied and energetic, not hungry or full. On hot days, keep the same calories per hour, but increase water. To use in combo with other foods, reduce Tailwind intake by the calories you’re consuming elsewhere to avoid overloading the gut. For shorter workouts (<2hr), you can use less Tailwind to taste.

    Love the Colorado cola flavor. Usually I don't rely to heavily on caffeinated sports nutrition but this has a solid boost for those early morning starts or extra long days that stretch into night to get you through without feeling jittery.

    Endurance Fuel - High Quality/Top Results

    I have been using Tailwind Nutrition products for years and incorporate caffeinated endurance fuel into almost every mid to long run. I am a trail runner in Indiana and particularly enjoy scooping up some Colorado Cola for the weekend miles! I have also tried the Green Tea and it's flavor is very good. Highly recommend the caffeinated endurance fuel if you are pushing the limits and want to keep running at 100% for long hours!

    I've been running on Tailwind for a few years now, I struggled with GI distress in nearly every run I did until I started running with Tailwind. For real, if it was longer than a 10k & I drank or ate anything; you'd find me hitting a Port-a-john! I preached it to my friends and we all run with it except the one friend that can sip a milkshake & keep cruising (I'm so jealous)! Now while running a trail & you pass another runner with a Tailwind hat, you nod and tell them you wouldn't make it without it either; they know what you mean. Caffeine helps me in the early morning runs & the overnight hours you're still running but in zombie mode!

    Finally Found the Holy Grail

    I sweat A LOT, and I came into endurance sports a from a very power and strength based athletic background, so my body had a big transition to make since 2014 to find the right nutrition that I could stomach and not bonk on over extended periods. I’ve tried gels, Skratch, nuun, Ucann, nuun + Ucann, and finally Tailwind hits the spot. It’s way easier to force down and stomach than gels, it has more calories than skratch, doesn’t have the fizziness of nuun, and doesn’t have the chalky texture of Ucann. Any endurance athlete will tell you that nutrition is a very personal thing, but for me I’ve found my sweet spot and Tailwind is my Go To (I tell everyone about it)! My favorite flavor is Green Tea Buzz. Try the sample pack to start, like I did.

    I have been using Rasberry Buzz for over two years now and has helped me complete the Race Across America in 2018 and 2019 and will again in 2021. It tastes great and helps keep me fueled during the long endurance training rides as well as racing.
